spring is coming!

look, look, the snowdrops are bloomin' and some other stuff is peekin up too!! my Mom says that means Spring is comin' and that's a good thing!

well, it finally got to be too much for my poor, old Mom. she said she can't even look at those paw portraits any more. that every time she does look at them she changes her mind. i made my final choices and now i need to take a reaaaaaallllll long nap. my little brain is fried. this was a good idea Buddy and Finnegan, but waaaaay too much work. and hard. poodins shouldn't have to strain their brains this much.............yaaawwwwnnnnnn

soop er bowl sunday

well, i want to thank everybody who voted for me over at Lyn's place blogginoutloud. oreo was nice enough to nominate a bunch of us. gigolo kitty and i were in a dead heat for votes, but i guess i pulled ahead. my Mom wants to thank her friend Megan for helpin'. she told lots of people 'bout the contest and asked them to check it out and vote for their fav'rite (i think she sorta suggested votin' for me!) anyway, other than being the 10,000th visitor to oreo's blog, i've never won anythin' before, so it's pretty 'xcitin'. to all of you who want to collect on my campaign promise of a "chipmunk in every pot" my Mom says you'll have to wait until spring 'cause all the chipmunks in the mitten state are hibernatin' now, whatever that is. you can email me your address at edsel@wowway.com and i'll send you one when they come back.

on another note, we're real close to Detroit and i heard on tv that lots o' people are unhappy 'cause they couldn't get soop er bowl tickets.





i don't understand what the big deal is. we got soop and a bowl right here. you can come over if you want. my Mom says dinner is at 6:30 (she's makin' steak and mushrooms & onions and 'sparagus and even some shrimp for me!) so there's plenty of food. and soop.
