there's Tuxedos everywhere!

'ya know what i saw today? a Tuxedo bear. no foolin'. i was over at the Nation'l Zoo website checking out those cutie pie cheetos........er.......cheetahs again and i saw me two Tuxedo bears.

look - there they are, right over there! i read that at the Zoo they call them Pandas, but in my eyes, black and white = Tuxedo. one of those Tuxedo bears is a lady bear and she just had a baby. they said the baby was only as big as a stick of butter! amazing! they said the mom is 'bout 245 pounds! if you want to check it out, you can go here: http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/GiantPandas/

i read that Tuxedo bears are 'ndangered, which i guess means that there aren't very many of them left and they might go away for ever.

hope that never happens to Tuxedo poodins!

just thought you might want to know.

check this out!

Hey poodins, check out my girlfriends, they live.......what?........oh, my Mom just intrupted to say i shouldn't try to pull the wool over any poodins eyes and that they aren't my girlfriends. well. if they met me, i'm sure they'd be my girlfriends, 'cause i'm a handsome man! and, i don't have any wool, so i don't know what she's talking about. so, check out these fab'lous, furry, felines who live at the Nat'ional Zoo over in Washington DC (by where the purrsident lives). they are called cheetos and .......what?......Mom again, telling me they are certainly not cheetos, 'cause cheetos are those orange crunchy things in the bag in the kitchen that look like Tangerine, that silly canary that lives with Timothy Dickens and is always going on and on about eggs. eggs? who cares about eggs??

anyway, check out these cheetahs, they are at the Zoo and were just born there not long ago. if you go to http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/AfricanSavanna/ you can see them. they even have a webcam that Mom and i keep trying to look at but whenever we go it says it's too busy, i guess 'cause poodins from all over the world are checkin' these fine felines out.

just thought you might want to know.

they're finally gone

it took those men most of the day today, but they finally got all of the dead tree taken away. they didn't have a big truck, just a little one, and kept driving away with tree and coming back for more. my Mom said they are unprofessional. maybe that means they just have a little truck?

this is me after they left. i lost so much sleep over the last couple of days that i could hardly keep my eyes open when i went out in the yard with my Mom. how dare they disturb the guy who is really in charge here????

a sad day

well, the big old dead tree is no more. the people who cut it down were very bad at their job. our yard is a mess and the police were here to yell at them and traffic was blocked and oh boy it was a mess. the Dad was real mad at them and said they might not get their money and it just went on and on. i'm sad 'cause the birds and squirrels will miss that big old tree. the whole front of the house looks funny without it and my Mom cried. some days are just sad. but my Mom kissed me on the head and said i made her feel better just being there, so that's a good thing.

we have a new birdbath in the back yard - it's made of concrete and boy those birds love it. in our other birdbath, they never took baths, just drinks, but this one they get in a dip and fluff and it's the funniest thing ever! that was a good thing too.

a day of peace

well. the noisy man came back today and said his crew doesn't want to work 'cause it's Sunday, so the dead tree will be here 'till tomorrow. i wonder why this noisy man has a crew? i thought ships had crews? very confusing. but, good for me 'cause i can enjoy my Sunday with my Mom being home and all. Mom said she's goin to the store to buy the new Hairy book and we can read it together later. that will be fun, i like to read with Mom. she also said she's goin to some place called trader joes and will bring me home a new double wide catnip scratcher. this is a picuture of my old one, but its pretty scratched up by now (see the nip all over my fur? i was havin' fun!) if any of you poodies don't have one of these, you should get one. they're nifty.

big doins in the front yard

ohmyohmyohmy - not sure what to do today. there is a really really tall tree in the front yard. Mom said it got bugs and died so there are men out there with noisy things who are cutting it all up. Mom is complaining a lot about how much money it costs to lose a tree. will she still be able to buy me crunchies??? if it's not one thing to worry about it's another. i want to watch out the window but it's all loud so i want to go under my bed. but what if they drop big bits of that old tree on the roof?? if they do, it'll be right over my room!! maybe i need a new room?? ohmyohmyohmy....i wish i were all brave like that timothy dickens! oh, big rains came and they had to stop. maybe they'll just go away so i can do a nap in peace, i'm going right now to my basket in the window by Mom's computer, this is very tiring.....

Thanks everyone!

Thank you for the hellos and welcomes. I don't have many friends 'cause I'm real shy and hide under the bed when anyone comes to my house. Don't know why I'm so nervous about people, no one has ever been mean to me. But all you poods make me smile, so I bet I'll enjoy being with all you! I wish I were all brave like that Timothy Dickens, he sure is one cool pood!

Timmy made me set up a blog

Well. By putting me, 'long with all you other poods, in his dream today, that darn Timothy Dickens nudged me to do this. I don't know that i'll have much to share in the way of adventures 'cause i'm a pretty shy guy and don't get out much. But i at least wanted to share a picture 'cause my mom calls me Handsome Man - she also kisses me on the head a lot, but that's a whole other story. So, here I am, in Michigan.
