plastic flowers

well, i can't show you 'cause my Mom is too lazy.....oh, sorry, "tired", to go over there and take a picture. but there is a house in our neighborhood and every inch in their garden is covered in plastic flowers. yup. plastic. i can see in the winter maybe a little plastic poinsettia or somethin' to brighten things up. but right now things are growing like crazy. and they plant plastic. i guess it saves 'em a lotta time. and probly water too 'cause i doubt you have to water plastic. how weird are these people??

on another note, i am feeling fine. my Mom says i look like a totally new Handsome Man 'cause i'm so much smaller 'cause they combed so much fur offa me when i was sleepin'. whatever, i feel unemcumbered by all that weight, free as a bird......

my sister discovered somethin' interestin' today. she thought the chimpmunks that live under our concrete patio just had one entry/exit hole. nope. they have a whole maze of holes right next to the garage. i think she'll probly spend the whole summer sitting right there, starin' at the ground........

Maybe those people have brown thumbs and real stuff would die on them. Mum says plastic is soo wierd, at least try for silk flowers, at least they look a little more real.

actually, those weird people will find that they do have to water the plastic flowers if they want them to stay clean and not dingy looking. our Lady has some silk plants, and she brushes the leaves with a toothbrush to keep them clean. real plants are easier to take care of, but then Grr lays on 'em and squashes 'em flat.

Hmmmm, those plastic flower people sound a little like kooks but oyou never know. We're sure their logic works for them.
Chippies have all kinds of entry & exit points because they never know when they will have to leap into one if a cat comes along.

Hi Edsel,
I just discovered your blog. All along I thought you were a woofie. I don't like woofies.
I think you're a very handsome kitty. I'm a large guy, like you. I'm an orange tabby and I weigh
twenty pounds.
I'd like to see a photo of the guy with the plastic flowers. He sounds as bad as the people who put tons of lawn ornaments all over their lawns. one of two is plenty- wenty is ridiculous.
My mommy went to the cancer thingy awhile ago. Can she have your email?

Another good thing about plastic fowlers......no vishus deer will eat them (well I don't think so) and no buggies will eat them.

Hi Edsel! It's been wa-a-a-y too long since I stopped by here. I'm sorry! I've missed so much.

Happy (very) late birthday wishes. Turning 10 is a great milestone!

I hope your mouth is feeling better by now. What you went through doesn't sound like fun.

Please tell your Mom that we're thinking of her. My Mom had radiation and chemo several years ago and really sympathizes.

I want to see a chipmunk someday. I hear they're really cute. My cousins in NY actually catch them sometimes.

I'll try to be better about visiting. I may have to thwap Mom if she won't let me on the computer often enough.
