True Confeshions
well. i got tagged twice that i know of to list naughty things that i do. i have thought and thought 'bout this and this is real hard 'cause i'm just not naughty. i can only think of one thing
1. i am rood to the Dad. i don't know why. he is a very good and nice Dad. he has always been kind to me and loves me. he tells me all the time. but i'm in a room and he walks in, i usually run. i sit with my Mom in the morning and help her drink coffee and read the paper, but won't do that with the Dad. he'll open the porch door to let me go out in the yard, but i only like to go out when my Mom is home. i wonder if anybody knows why? my Mom says maybe a man was mean to me when i was real little before i lived here. or maybe it's 'cause the Dad is louder than she is and just sorta startles me sometimes. i'm sorry Dad.

I think it's just because moms are smaller and their voices are more like ours. I bet your dad understands, too, and knows you're not being rude.
Don't feel too bad. Buddah is like that with the Younger Human, nad the Younger Human let him stay in his room when he first came to live with us. We don't know why he started running from the Younger Human, but we think alot of it has to do with the size of his feet. He has REALLY big feet and maybe Buddah's afraid of them...? Maybe you're afraid of something simple on your Dad, or deep down you just like messing with him ;)
I think William is right. Mom's just have softer voices that sound more like us. I'm scared of deep man voices too.
Poor Dad ... I bet there's just something very subtle about him that disturbs you, maybe heavy feet or his size or a pheromone. Or maybe like you said, some man was mean before.

Don't feel bad Edsel. Shadow is much the same way; it has taken her years to warm up to 'bean Dad and she wont go near any strange 'bean boys ever ~poiland tribe
i feel safer with my mama, too. my uncle jerry comes over and i run to hide. he's noisy and he scares me. i don't feel safe. some kitties are best with just one person.

Max likes Mom a lot more than Dad. In fact, Dad is hardly even allowed to pet him, but he lets Mom pet him any time. And Max sure was never hurt by anyone 'cause he was adopted as a young kitten. I really think it's a personality thing or maybe just personal preference. Don't feel guilty about it, Edsel.

I am that way with my Daddy too, although he loves me and talks to me softly and scratches behind my ears. I used to sit on his lap all the time afore I got sick, but maybe he made me sick.....no, Momma says he has nothing to do with my tummy trubles. I don't like it when he takes off his belt, Momma says I have many bad memories of My Life Before.

I thought it was just Spot who had that problem. He's afraid my dad's gonna eat him, even though Mom reassures him that he's too old and stringy...
Yeah, it's prolly coz yur dad is louder den yur Mom. Sometimes it's just da way we were borned.
Sammy is scairt of efurryone 'cept mommy.
