My Mom
i just wanted to let everybody know that my Mom is doin' good. her stupid oncologist didn't give her any anti nausea pills so last week she threw up all day and then had to go to the emergency room. she's real disappointed in her doctors at this one health system and is going to switch everything she does to another good hospital in the area. but it was really bad that she was so sick for no good reason. plus she's really angry that if they let her "fall thru the cracks" that they do it to a lot of other people too, and a lot of these people are really sick, not real smart to begin with, without a good support system and what on earth do they do??? she and my aunt Barbara are going to write a scathing letter to the hospital system that screwed up tellin' them that they should be more careful 'bout takin' care of people.
but, right now, we're fine, enjoying our yard and June and just tryin' to find somethin' to smile 'bout every day.

Thank you for the update on your mum Edsel. She is furry smart to go to another hospital and/or doctor to get better care. Plus tell the old one they screwed up!
We could send Bonnie to hiss at that old system that "forgot" bout the pills. She's furroshus. Keep givin yur mom plenty of fur and purr therapy cuz it always makes beans feel better.

Oh no...she got a wedgy from an HMO? At least that's what the Woman calls it...HMO Wedgies. She gets really really ticked if she thinks about them too much...

Thanks for letting us know, Edsel. The state of health care! Maybe that can get fixed some day. Anyway, we all hope your mom is treated much much better at the new place.

Not giving your Mom anti-nausea medicine is just unforgivable. I hope she gets much better care at the new hospital. Good on her for writing a scathing letter. I hope she is feeling much better now.

We're glad to heer that yore mom is doing better, Edsel, but so sorry that she had such a terribul barfathon. Sending lots of purrs that she is feeling much better soon.

Oh Edsel, So sorry the Health Care System made your mom sicker. Glad she's feeling better and is changing systems. Maybe we cats can find a way to help people who aren't as smart as your mom to fight for humane people health care rights.

It's always difficult watching our beans not being taken care of the right way. Mine Grammie gotted a really bad rash a'cause she's not supposed to have plastic near her skin but one of the aides didn't know and now Grammie's legs hurt :( Mrrrr.... if us poodin's were allowed, we'd take such good care of our beans! If only we had thumbs!! Glad to hear she's doin' m'kay aside from the bad hopsitable experience.
