hoot

some of you poodins, like Oreo, have real owls in your yards. we hear an owl makin' owl noises, but we've never seen him. we do, though, have our own owl right back in the bird feedin' area. his name is Hoot. back when my Mom and the Dad were makin' jewelry and doin' art shows, they used to trade jewelry for lotsa stuff that other artists made. at one show, they met a guy who made art out of recycled stuff. they got Hoot, who was made outa recycled refrigermators and stoves and stuff. he's really cool, the chipmunks like to sit on his head. i wish he was a real owl, but i guess he's as close as i'm gonna get.
P.S. my Mom is a little annoyed at me 'cause i lost 2 collars this week....i don't know where they go!!!(maybe Hoot stole 'em?)

Wow Edsel this is really cool! I hear owls but the only one I can see is a plastic one on a pole in our yard. Yours is way better than mine.

Hoot is a real hoot!!! We have owls too, Daddy even saw a real live one in the Piney Woods.

I think it is a 'septional talent you have HoudiniEdsel. Maybe your Momma will get the hint and stop putting them round your necky. You think?

Momma got us microchipped. Why, anyways, we can't go outside. It is a precaution she says. Whatever, Momma.

Patches and Mittens told me that you also lose your collars so I came over to visit. Bubbles has lost 2 collars also! I don't know what to do anymore. He is microchiped, so at the moment he is going outside without his collar. But I wish he would just keep them on!

I got a better idea than getting chipped. Have your mom get you one of those cars with the GPS thing in it. That way you could drive all around plus not have that thing stuck in you OR have to wear a collar! SCORE!

Hoot is a cool owl, Edsel. The only owl I've efur seen in purrson is the plastic one Mom has in her bedroom. (No, I don't know why shes got a plastic owl in her bedroom -- to scare crows out of her bedroom maybe???) Maybe you just need a proper gangster collar, Edsel. I'll have to research some on that.

Hoot is really cool! I love his feathers, and the details surrounding his face. Your human pets definitely have some good taste to bring Hoot home to you!

Now Edsel I can't imagine how you lost not one but two collars...you are like my sisfur Boo. She ended up sticking her back paw inside the collar and she was a three legged cat...that was the last collar she wore.
Drop by and visit, it's our one year annerversarry today. Yippee

Hoot is totally cool, Edsel! Could you post a pic with the chipmunks on his head? Our mom would luv ta see that! btw: we're both "chipped" - when the dr went to give it to Meep, the little tuff guy actually broke the needle!

is that how they do the chips, with a needle? i've been kinda worried 'bout that....

My vet said she can't chip Bonnie until she's sleepin fur sumfing else cuz "she fills her skin" - she can't pinch Bonnie's scruff enuf to put a needle that big into her!!! Yep, the chip means a BIG needle into yur scruff.

Edsel, I lurve yur owl. He doesn't scare off the songy birds, does he? Mom read sumwhere that you can make yur own cheap kitty collars frum sewing elastic, like in waste bands, but same width as collars. Just sew the ends together an write yur name or number on it wif a Sharpie. Big enuf to stretch an go ofur yur head, but not big enuf to slip off too easily (it'll stretch an come off if yous get stuckis). If you do manage to lose it, it's cheep.

PS Bonnie was lickin her chest or neck today an caught part of her collar in her mouf. She was growlin an shakin her head, but she gots it spit out before Mom efun figured out what happened. It was the extra part fur makin it bigger.
