song #2

i have one more song. it is my last one, as it strains my brain to do this. plus, i need to be with my Mom. she's goin' back to work part time tomorrow and i have to enjoy this last day with her home and reassure her that everythin' is gonna be ok.

sung to the tune of Motown's Aretha Frankins "Natural Woman"

Lookin’ out on the evenin’ sun
I used to feel so tired
And when I knew I had to be here for my Mom
Lord, I would feel so wired
Before the day I met you, life was so unkind
But your love allowed me to really unwind

Cause you make me feel, you make me feel, you make me feel like a natural poodin

When my soul was deep in trouble
Boni came along to save me
I didn’t know what troubled me
‘til your purr helped me name it
Now I’m now longer troubled, or worried about each day
Cause if I make you happy there is nothing more to say
Cause you make me feel, you make me feel, you make me feel like natural poodin

That was furry good. Don't hurt yourself thinking of more songs. Go and purr with the beanmom.

Plus beanmom must be doing OK if they are letting her go back to work, even just part of the time.

Oh it's a bad day for my delicate ears. Beanmom was looking at Zeus's blog and started warbling, and now she's singing your song too. It's a good song, but she's an awful "singer". Poor Beanmom, she just won't stop though.

That song is out-of-sight good! You should have seen me lying on the floor, laptop in front of me, just belting it out. One can't just "read" the words. Gotta make a joyful noise and SING IT. Strangely, I had to sing it out loud twice. Now I'm feeling kind of like a poodin myself. If only I would grow a tail!

A wonderful song! Wow, I just don't have the brains to do stuff like that. Mama was singing, too, but she has a purrty voice. I am glad your mama was able to go back to work. I hope she is doing okay. Don't forget to give her lots of love stuff when she gets home!!!

Maybe so, maybe no, Derby. I just might look good with a tail. Kind of like the Cowardly Lion. I think I truly do have tail envy.

You made me laugh!
