it's cool here
hey. i know it's really warm in the places where a lot of you live. yesterday Patches Lady and Mittens came over to visit and hang out in the shade in our yard 'cause it's nice and cool. if anybody else wants to teleport over, let me know and you can come over for a "cool down." this is one corner where it's nice and shady. plus, there's lotsa chipmunks!!

Chipmunks? are they like monkeys?
Meezers - have your Mom go online and show you a picture of a chipmunk. they're kind of like really tiny squirrel, nothing like monkeys. (or go to my post of August 7th, 2005 in the archives and you can see one in my yard!)

Hi Edsel! It's dark here now, but it's still hot, do you mind if we pop over for a little while so we can cool off before bedtime? Your yard is furry pretty.
May I come over on Wednesday if I bring my Alley Cat crunchies (my favorite)? I am sooo not liking this hot weather!
You have the mostest beautiful yard, Edsel! It is so green and cool and the landscape is just lovely and fun. The rocks are great to walk on and jump from one to the other. Momma says it takes a lot of work to keep it looking so nice. We saw the chipmunks when we was there. They chattered at us and we talked back.

my Mom is good. anybody that wants to come over to rest in the shade, just come here. there is lotsa cool water outside if nobody is home. if they are home, they'll bring you snacks!(my Mom said)

Nice hostas, Edsel. Our Mom collects hosta and has almost 100 different kinds.
