waitin' for Spring
i'm very, very tired of winter. and of it bein' dark early. my Mom says the dark will come later soon. i don't know why. she tried 'xplaining it and i still i don't understand why. it's some dumb bean thingy. but i'll be glad when it happens. then i'll go outside more.my Mom finally ordered Max's new book so at least i have somethin' to look forward to this week....it will come this week, right???? Max did you send it yet?????? i need a lift!!! the mitten state is very dreary now......

Don't worry Edsel, spring will come, cuz it comed here now and I didn't think it ever would. What do you call the Mitten State in the summer? We call Idaho, A State of Winter, but now it is "Springtime In The Rockies."
You am too cute to be so sad......you can come teleport here, Mom said, "what is one more kitty mouth to feed," and her loves on us a lot, she would love on you too! But....she said your Mom loves you and would miss you, so you best just come for a quick break, a SPRING break.......
The Woman says all books that she's received orders for have been sent out. She mailed one yesterday, maybe that was yours! And she sent it on the fast truck, not the slow boat to China.
You am all way purrty though Edsel! Mom & Dad are gonna sneak me in to the race in their cooler, so I guess you could come too if you wanted to. They're gonna cut eye holes in it for me!
Hang in there, spring will arrive very soon.
Been out of the blogging loop for a while, what is this "max book" that everyone is talking about?

Patches - the mitten state is always called the mitten state whatever time of year it is. it's not 'cause we wear mittens, it's 'cause we're shaped like a mitten!
