sigh....
well, it seems like i'm just destined to be in hot water. my Mom said it was inappropriate to show our hairy sink on my blog, that she had just cleaned hair out of her brush and turned away to grab a paper towel to pick it up and throw it away and it was very rude of me to "infer" that she was goin' bald or somethin'. i tried to 'xplain that i was truly worried but she shook her head and asked where my common sense was.....then she came back and said on the heels of the "casey poop incident" i should think 'bout my behavior.....
so here i am, by myself,
thinkin'......
what the heck is "common sense," anyway???"

Edsel, your mom is just bein a poopy head...our mom acts like this all the time...just last week we all tossed up our breakfast within an hour of each other. She gave us that funny look...then told everybody on her blog! sheesh...that fancy feast was just yucky that day.
You were jus bein an informational furry...yer mom needs ta jus accept that maby she is goin bald and jus face the facts...ur, face the bald head...ur, maby keep this ter ur self.
Give her the big lovin look that we all do and she will cuddle up to ya and give you a big head rub! Maby she jus needs some big cat leg rubs with yer fluffy tail!
We still luv ya Edsel...purrrrrrrrrs

While we think that there is ab-so-lootly nothing wrong with your behavior or posts, perhaps the curly tails are right - you should give your mom "the look" and try and 'pologize and give her a cuddle. And then try and keep her from reading your bloggie.
Sometimes we apologize even when we KNOW we are right -- it makes the other person happy and you'll probably end up with some treats also. Anyway, that amount of hair is nothing ... you should see what we get from MY brush when my Mom brushes me. She says it could be another cat, even though I think four is enough.

Maybe your Mom is jealous of all your fur?

I say that if your mom isn't going bald, there wouldn't be a need to clean the brush, right? I mean, Jasper is right...I've heard my mom mutter "Crazy...cat shedding...ugh!" as she pulls hair out of our brush.
I say your mom should embrace her shedding and look to make hair deposits on all the furniture and all of her clothes like we do!
I hate to have to take Edsel's side on this one, but...
He did not "infer" anything. He would have to "imply" that someone was losing their hair.
The reader of his blog could "infer" that Edsel was taking a shot at someone. But then the responsibility for misunderstanding rests with the reader.
** steps down from soapbox **
I think "common sense" might be like "p's and q's," just another of those confusing mom sayings.
Edsel Buddy,
The WCT's are right. She's being a poopie head!
Getting all twisted up over silly little stuff. I'm another one that after a good luxurious brushing there is enough hair to stuff a pillow, but, mmmmm, my skin feels good. Our moms all worried about the "creeping gray" what ever that is. -Shaggy
Edsel,
I agree with Magoo, Bella, Smudge and Dolce. You are just reporting the truth. What the reader makes of your facts, well. You don't have control over that.
Your mum needs to lighten' up.
Mommies just get all cranky sometimes for no good reason. The look works sometimes. I usually use ignorin instead cuz it's less stressful. And common sense is what my Mommy says most beans don't have. She must mean the ability to think right like a cat or somefin.
So what are you thinkin about? It looks like you're thinkin from a diffurent basket than Casey's tho.
Oh, Edsel, a friend sent my Mom a picture of the baby tuxie bear and his momma. I put it on my blog. Just another Tuxedo Gun Moll service, yanno. :)
i won't lay in casey's basket agian if you paid me!!! thanks for the heads up on the picture, boni, i'll go check it out!
Isn't common sense when you all have lots of pennies.
Commom cents! YUP......
I think common sense is also horse sense, or the sense God gave a mule. So, I'm not sure why humans think we house animals have it. If we had common sense, we wouldn't be nearly as smart as we are. And we've live in a stable.
I thought common scents were the smells you find most often. And Edsel, I thought you were black and white, but in that pictor, your hair looks brown or even red. I'm not just two colors either, and Bonnie's hairs are each striped!
Women can be so difficult sometimes. Can't live with 'em, can't open cat food without 'em. Just ignore her until she feels guilty.
