so far 2006 is going swimingly!

my Mom and the Dad stayed home New Year's Eve ('cause they're old fuddyduddies) (they said that, not ME!) my Mom made a salad and a huge stuffed pizza and they got broasted chicken.

my Mom always gives me a piece of chicken of my very own 'cause i like to lick it (don't tell the Dad)

but the bestest part was my Mom fixed me, as Max would call it, real live dead shrimp!! just for me!!!!

then I had to wash and take a nap.
2006 is lookin' to be a good year!

Yeah, mum agrees that she is a fuddyduddy too. But she fixed turkey so I gotted some of that for new year's eve. Tonight she shared a bit of her chicken.

So yeah so far 2006 is pretty good. But mum says we are only day 2.

Your very own piece of chicken! Wow! 2006 is a good year for you so far. Lucky Edsel :) My grandma saw your blog tonight and said you're extremely very handsome in your bow tie especially and I'm lucky to be your Tuxedo gun moll. She's right, of course. Grandmas always are. Except when Mom's right instead. *kitty giggles*

Yes, Ullrick, cats really can and really do blog! You're awfully cute too.

I had black-eyed peas with lots of tabasco. That was my big treat. But that chicken sure looks good. I say we all meet at Edsel's to ring in 2007!

I wish my mom would serve me good human food! I try to sneak it, but she keeps a tight lid on things.

Lucky you...you, your chicken and your shrimp! If you ever have extra, I can teach you how to Fed Ex...

We actually had to stop giving our cats any "mousies". The new kitten was developing too much of a taste for turkey and crab/shrimp. She started to tunr her nose up at her kitten food.
