conservin' energy
it's saturday. it's 26 degrees outside.
my Mom's busy. there's nothin' to do,
so i'm gonna do what i do best - guard
the premises while conservin' energy.
i'll keep an eye on the pretty red
amyrillyus at the same time.

Mittens would have eaten it, that is for sure. She eats plants, bugs and cat food. I eat cat food and people food, specially old popcorn I find on the floor (purrsons are sure messy)
You're doing such a good job guarding, Edsel. You must be or that amyrillyus would be all over the floor. Specially if I was around. I love to rub on flowers and play with them and sometimes even munch on the leaves.
Ours has 8 big flowers on it now!! Shaggy was munching on it the other day. Nice nappy place you have there.
It's Sunday and about 65 degrees in Kansas City. It's a gorgeous day! But supposed to snow tomorrow. Crazy weather.

65 degrees, wow. i'm gonna ask my Mom if we can move someplace warm, this cold blows. thank you 'bout our home, it's a lot of hard work to guard it and keep the cat hair under control (my smelly sister sheds a lot)
I think it's great you can guard the premises, watch the amarillyus, and conserve energy all at the same time. Impressive!
That's a good nap spot - window, driveway, door, and strange flower all under surveylance. Weird weather here, too. Warmer than usual but lotsa clouds, until yesterday. Then the sun came back from vacation.
