what is wrong with this picture?
eight inches of snow is what's wrong with this picuture. here, i'm struglin' to get back up the ramp from my kitty condo 'cause i couldn't even get down the ramp 'cause i was up to my neck. for those of you who have expressed interest in snow, let me tell you once and for all, it has no redeemin' qualities. trust me. plus! plus!! we don't even have ONE christmas decoration up! my Mom is still sick, on a different anti-bio-tic now. she hasn't baked one cookie. or bought one present. i wonder if i'll even GET a present????? i've been good, really i have......................

Oh, we think you'll get presents Edsel....hehe.
Me Say, Grab Hold Of Plump Man Coming Down Chimney And Empty Sack!
Eeek! Good thing you have lotsa fluffy fur Edsel. And black fur on top in case you get lost, so then your Mom can find you. I bet you'll get a present - you can always grab the plump man like GK says. I'm real sorry your Mom is sick. I hope the anti-bio-tic makes her feel all perky again. Boni says meow-hi! She's watchin me blog but it's my turn. Just cuz Mom was gone to help a sick friend doesn't mean it's Boni's turn yet. I bet you'll get a purresent cuz your Mom is nice. Maybe she's sending the male person out for purresents this year? We'll say purrayers for your Mom and for you to get purresents and not get lost in the snow.
Brrrrrrrrrrr Edsel! You look so spiffy in that white snow.
Get well to your mom. Tell her that our mom always sips on lots of wonton soup when she is sick. She loves that stuff...I think there is chicken broth in it? It sure smells good!
Not to worry, you have been such a good furry I am sure Santa is watching over you and your family this year...presents are surely on the way...meow!
The Whippy Curly Tails in the Toasty South,

Edsel...pass this note on to your mom, meow!
Go visit this wonderful blog, by John Grogan--author of a great book about Marley the blonde lab. Marley & Me blog!
The book will make you laught & cry--"MARLEY & ME"
Happy reading Edsel's mom...get better.
I's so sorry your Mom is still sick. Sounds like the anti-bio-ticks aren't doing their job....although I'm still not sure what they are, much less what they're supposed to be doing????????? At any rate, we will say more & better purrayers for your Mom!!
PS, snow sucks, I wrote a song about snow on my bloggie today! Stay inside if you can! :)
Edsel, Aww, not fun with the mommy sick. Hope that the druggies she takes makes her better. Also, don't get stressed out with not getting cookies, decorations done. Just do a little and relax, Christmas is inside our hearts no matter what.
Edsel, my mom's sick too so I understand, but I bet you DO get LOTS of presents! Why is your kitty condo outside in the snow instead of INSIDE where it's warm and dry?
Beau, it's our special outside tiny safe yard. it's about 15' x 15' all fenced in (on the top, too) with a ramp from the window. we have a little house, and grass and concrete and we can come and go and be safe. when my Mom can watch, she'll let us out in the big yard.
no. there is nothin', i repeat nothin' fun 'bout snow. it's cold and makes my paws wet, then it gets between my toes and hurts. it just is the worst. well, maybe not as bad as hurricanes, but just awful.
Edsel, I'm so glad my song helped! I'm going to try it here too & if it works maybe I WILL sell it!!
Does your mom clamp her mouth shut and run away when you try to give the medicine to her? Or, does she let you stick the pill in her mouth but then she spits it out, 900 times until the thing is all spitty and tiny and covered with fur and stuff? Maybe that's why it's taking so long for her to get better!
Don't worry, ALL good kitties get presents from Santa.
Oh man, that photo makes me shiver just looking at it. Snow can be so chilly on one's paws.
The kitty condo sounds fabulous! My fur brother would love one of those! I don't like being cooped up, but it would be perfect for him.
Dude, why are you outside? That stuff is COLD!
I hope your Mom feels better, but I'm sure Santa will bring you a present no matter what. Like maybe something to keep warm when you're stuck outside in that snow!
William - my Mom does tend to gag on her medicine sometimes, she's not very good at swallowin' pills. i've never seen her spit one out, but i'll watch for that and make sure she swallows 'em
