baad refrigermator

this is our regfrigermator. it made my Mom very unhappy this weekend. it looks like a perfectly nice refrigermator but it started makin' REALLY LOUD noises. my Mom checked and 'cause of it's age she decided that it wasn't worth tryin' to fix. so, my Mom and the Dad went shoppin' for a new one. they found a bunch a ones that they liked, but my Mom said it was like a conspearacy. the ones they liked in the price range they wanted to be had to be ordered and wouldn't be here for two to four weeks and she said we'd be crazy listenin' to that REALLY LOUD noise for that long. if it even kept workin'. so they had to buy one for waaaay more money than they wanted to spend. it's comin' tomorrow. then, my Mom had to spend a bunch of time today gettin' the old one ready for the Dad to get the stuff outta it and into the new one 'cause when they deliver it they'll haul the LOUD one away. i don' know... it seems all complicated......i just hope our cat food and half and half stays cold, not like our ice cream that all melted.....

Loud appliances are not to be taken lightly. Your Mom had no choice but to toss that one out!

ooh, we had those troubles, too! Mama ended up with a smaller fridge, but she had to get it in the partment by herself. Now we have cool things. But we have a separate little freezer that came before I was here, so small is okay.

We would teleport on over to see you, but Momma really needs us now, so we better stay close to home. She has a poofy eye and it looks really sore. She is starting to get around to visit blogs again, till her eyes get way tired and start leaking.

I hope you get one like we got last year. It spits ice cubes out the front, and they land on the floor where we can bat at them. And when we're tired of batting, we can lick them. It's great fun, even though it upsets the people that the ice just comes flying out like that.

my mommy had to go through that before she had us kitties. The beans went on vacation for a week in the summer and when they got back they opened the door and the smell made them gag. Some time while they were gone that week the cold box quit being cold. And then all the non frozen stuff leaked onto the floor, got in the seam and warped the floor. mommy took one look at it, opened the windows and went to bed.

All my mum and I can think of to say is...woah, Americans have BIG refrigerators! No one in the UK has a fridge that size, except maybe squillionaires, but I don't think our kitchens are designed for fridges that size...Have fun with your new fridge!
