the dark is almost here
our least fav'rite time of year is when the time changes at the end of october. makes it get dark an hour earlier. that means that by the middle of november when my Mom gets home from work, it's all dark. she hates it 'cause she says it feels like she has no life. gets up in the dark, leaves work in the dark. i hate it 'cause if it's dark, i can't go out in the yard when she comes home. bummer. i better squeeze in as much yard time as i can. mmmmm, love to munch on that grass.

Maybe your mom could get you some indoor grass that you could eat any time. Then you could snuggle with her instead of going out into the cold!
William, we usually do have cat grass inside in the winter, but i really miss my romps in the yard. plus my Mom says i gain weight in the winter 'cause of the reduced rompin'.
yummmmmmm, I love eating the outside grass too! It is yummydelish. I have the inside grass too, but it's not as fun or tasty. That's a great picture!
i agree, Princess Mia. i don't know why, but the outside grass is just so much better. part of it is that it's really attached to the ground, so i can tug on it and it doesn't "fall out" of the dish it's in. and maybe 'cause it's only 'vailable part of the year. i miss it when it's gone.

Poor Edsel. My Mommy likes the dark cuz it's not so hot. Even without fur she gets hot too easy and gets sick. I bet she'd send you some light if she could. I know I would!
The Woman hates this time of year, too. She can't see in the dark, so she has to be home extra early and it makes her feel like an 8 year old. She thinks it should be a law that it stays light out until 10 p.m. I don't think she's gonna get her way...
MMM, I would like to try that grass. My grass doesn't look like that. :(
